These elderberry popsicles are the perfect way to support your immune system and feel better quick! Made with elderberry syrup, they are easy to make and delicious. Kids love them and adults do too!
Put 1 tablespoon of elderberry syrup into each popsicle mold.
Then fill the popsicle molds with juice. I used organic apple juice, but orange, tart cherry, or pomegranate juice would all work well.
Give the elderberry syrup and juice mixture a little swirl with a popsicle stick to combine, then add the popsicle sticks to the top of the mold.
Put the popsicle molds into the freezer and freeze for several hours or until frozen solid.
When you are ready to serve the popsicles, run some cold water on the popsicle mold to loosen it up and remove it.
Notes
These elderberry ice pops are great to have on hand during times of illness. I always make sure to have some made up in the freezer ahead of time so that we are prepared. One or two popsicles is equal to one dose of elderberry syrup for an adult, so two can be taken per day as needed. For a child, one per day is perfect. This recipe comes from the book Simply Living Well by Julia Watkins.
